Cuban Beans and Rice Recipe

1. Heat oil in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Add Cuban Sazon Seasoning from indigenous blends, tomato sauce and garlic and cook for about I minute until fragrant. Add enough water then bring to a boil.

2. Add beans, rice and sugar and stir. Bring rice mixture to a boil then reduce heat to medium low and cook, covered, until water is absorbed. Let it sit until the rice becomes tender.
